Season 16 of Pat Callinan’s 4×4 Adventures has shown its fair share of tracks, brilliant camps, and thrills.
Pats’ 16th year of the brand-funded Television show sees him travel from Brisbane to Melbourne entirely off-road. From Stradbroke Island to the Blue Mountains, Victorian High Country, and Ada Tree, this season promised serene trips and, ultimately, the main attraction, the build of Pat Callinan’s Ford F150, ‘The Thirst Responder’ with over $100K of added accessories.
Over the past three years, the man known as Mr 4×4 has been using the Bushranger Night Hawk Variable Series lights. Pat is a true fan of the Variable Colour Temperature model (VCT), and when it came to his brand new Ford F-150, this was the request, along with our Variable Light Intensity light bars for the tub area.
Why did Pat Callinan Choose the VCT?
Pat’s new Ford F-150 features the Night Hawk VCT (Variable Colour Temperature) Driving Lights, which allow drivers to set their preferred brightness and colour and then adjust them to suit the environment or terrain travelled. Driving at night can take its toll on a tourer like Pat, who travels long distances across Australia. Only having one brightness level at a set colour output doesn’t always present the ideal lighting situation. Over the years, Pat has been able to adjust the light output to give him the best visibility whether driving through snow, fog, rain, clear skies or dusty outback roads.
Suppose you are like Pat, who travels far distances across varying environments. The VCT lighting allows you to obtain the ideal lighting output and adjustability at the turn of the dials. Pat chose the VCT for this reason: Greater Visibility = safer travel.
