4X4 Australia conducted an “LED Driving Light Comparison Test” with the Top 10 LED Driving Lights available in the market.

We are thrilled to be crowned the WINNER of this LED Driving Light Comparison Test. Our engineering team spent hundreds of hours designing, testing and developing to making them commercially viable for the Australian market. We always knew that the performance statistics made us the No. 1 but now to have an independent third-party review, is the icing on the cake.

To earn the top honour, we had to meet the criteria; requires excellent light output (spread for short – to mid-range, as well as long-range usable spot beam), clever design features, and be easy to use (fitment and aiming). Price and inclusions were all important considerations.

The competition was fierce, up against some big named brands, of which we are privileged to be in the company. The LED Lights tested;

  • Bushranger Night Hawk 9″ VLI Series
  • Narva Ultima 215
  • Lightforce Genesis 210
  • ARB 32 Intensity V2
  • AFN LED 100w
  • Big Red 220 High Power
  • Great White Attack 220
  • Ultra Vision Nitro 140 Maxx
  • Thunder 30 LED
  • KC Hilites Carbon Pod

If you’re after the highlights of what was said about the Night Hawk VLI Series LED Driving Lights, here’s a couple of grabs from the magazine.

“The spot beam was one of the brightest and most usable, casting a concentrated beam at a distance and very good short- to mid-distance illumination devoid of shadows. Clipping the spread beam cover on totally transformed the light output by providing an incredible spread at most distances. Driving with one of each light beam (spot and spread) may well return the ideal combination of light.”

“The Night Hawks are priced in the middle of this pack, making this formidable driving light near unbeatable when combining specifications, inclusions and a potential pairing with spot and wide beams”
